REDONDO BEACH, Calif., October 14, 2026. Driving an EV to the South Bay and want to plug in overnight? Journeyed checked what hotels in Redondo Beach, Torrance, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo and Hawthorne state on their own websites. 17 state EV charging and 9 state they have none. No hotel states a charger count, connector type or fee.
1. Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Redondo Beach, 2410 Marine Avenue, states on-site EV charging, self parking at $25 a day with in-and-out privileges, the Garden Grille restaurant and bar, noon checkout and an outdoor pool. Its website says the Northrop Grumman campus is within a half-mile and the light rail station to the airport is steps away. 2. Same block, with a kitchen and free breakfast: Residence Inn Los Angeles Redondo Beach states EV charging subject to availability, $25 parking and a free hot breakfast. Homewood Suites, next door, states no EV charging.

Hotels whose websites state no EV charging include Homewood Suites Redondo Beach, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites LAX/Manhattan Beach, Residence Inn Torrance/Redondo Beach, Hampton Inn Hermosa Beach and Aloft El Segundo.
