Reading this site needs no account, and pages load no third-party scripts.

We do not store the wording of questions people type. Questions are published only in neutral, canonical wording.

AI assistants can read this site through its MCP server. A request there needs no account and sets no cookie. We log which tool was called and the name the assistant gives for itself, and never the wording of the question.

Hotel pages can show YouTube videos found with YouTube API Services. We keep only public video details (title, channel, upload date, length and thumbnail address) and refresh or delete them within 30 days. Video thumbnails load from YouTube (i.ytimg.com) as you scroll to them, with no referrer, and a video plays on YouTube, where the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) apply.

Hotel pages can show photos from the hotel's own public Instagram account, found with Meta's Instagram Graph API. We keep only each post's link, type, date and the image address Instagram gives us, refresh them daily and delete them within 7 days. The photos load from Instagram's servers (cdninstagram.com, fbcdn.net) as you scroll to them, with no referrer; we never copy or store them, and we never keep captions, likes, comments or anything about the people who post. Hotels can ask us to stop showing their Instagram photos: write to hello@journeyed.org, and they are removed within 48 hours.
